The new year is in full swing and in this month where we are reminded of the beauty and wonder of the greatest gift, action, and feeling in the world - Love! Let us be encouraged in this season as we find ways to show appreciation and gratitude to those around us, look for meaning and joy in the moments, pause in the beautiful stillness of winter, and spend time together reflecting on the gift of love.
Personally, I have been challenged this season to press the pause button on some of the busyness and be even more intentional with my time, investing in the moments, and enjoying the last months with our little boy before he's off to school in the fall. In life we often encounter once-in-a-lifetime experiences and for us this is one of those opportunities. Two pieces of wisdom that resonate with me: 1) You can't slow down time, the only thing you can slow down is you. And 2) The best gift you can give your kids is time. 💕 I love these words of wisdom and relish in their goodness. How sweet time is and how much I love quality time with those I love; what a gift!
I wish you a month full of love, joy, and happiness. May you be encouraged to see and smell the roses amidst the thorns, find the joy in the simple things, and seek the giver of all things, including love, in this sweet season of appreciation.
Extending love to all of you,
1 Corinthians 13: 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
